Easter 2014

We had a fun afternoon at Grammie and Pa's house today to celebrate Easter.  The girls had such a fun time looking for Easter eggs too!  They went for a hunt with all of the kids from children's church after the service at the park across the street, looked for eggs in our own backyard, and then found more at Grammie and Pa's house with Aunt MJ!  On the way home we stopped at Great Grandpa's to drop off some dinner.  I tried to explain to the girls that he is Grammie's daddy.  I'm pretty sure Stella understood, but I'm not so sure about Claire!

With Great Grandpa!
This weekend was our final gymnastics class of the semester.  Grammie came for family day to see what the girls have been up to.  We were excited to see the progress Stella has made since throughout the class we don't generally get to observe a great deal.  Randy was able to get some great shots!

Last Parent-Tot class...
Claire's ready to be on her own next semester!

See Grammie! I can do it!

A teachable moment

Balancing Beauty!

Sleepover Fun

Last weekend the girls spent the night with mommy at Grammie and Pa's while daddy was in Boston for the National Science Teacher's Conference.  We went to see the Easter Bunny with Maddy and Joan and watched Frozen with Grammie!  She gave the girls sweet monkey treats too!

Stella wasn't up for having her face painted at the Easter festivities but Maddy and Claire were eager to partake!

This weekend we traveled to Syracuse with daddy for an AAU tournament.  The weather was absolutely beautiful and (we were so fortunate) the games were at a middle school so instead of watching the games we played on the playground!  It was so much fun to finally spend some time outside in the warm sunshine!  Today we visited the Rosamond Gifford Zoo.  We all really enjoyed walking around and seeing the animals.  It was such a great day!

2.5 hours at the zoo = some very tired little girls!

This week the girls will be home with Randy for some fun family time during spring break.  We have planned a trip to Disney World for July so we are staying home for Easter this year!
