Springs Long-Awaited Arrival

Playing outdoors with our dollies
We are so happy spring has finally arrived!  The girls are excited for dresses
and summer shorts and tanks, and while we are still having some milder temperatures, over the weekend it sure felt like summer is just around the corner!  We played outside for hours and the girls even helped mommy bag up some leaves from the yard!

This past weekend the girls had their last gymnastics class of the semester.  They were so excited to be with their friends and this year they were given both a certificate AND a medal.  They were happy about those medals all day long!
Gigi, Cami, Stella, and Claire!  All smiles after class.

Stretching!

After gymnastics we headed over to the Chilly Delight for a sweet treat!

We spent the rest of Saturday visiting Great Grandpa, playing at the playground, and having dinner at the River View with Aunt Mary Jane.  It was a happy day full of sunshine and laughter!

Last weekend daddy had to work on our plumbing.  If you know Randy, you probably know this would take him out of his comfort zone.  He took care of our blockage and replaced some pipes though.  He is handy when he has to be thankfully!

Hopefully this summer we can offload some of that yard sale pile in the background!

Daddy is an advisor for the National Honor Society at school and they hosted a fun night last weekend.  I took the girls by and they had fun making a planter, watching some Disney movies, dancing around, and playing in the gym.  And of course running into one of our date-night sitters Allie Hooker was a big highlight of the evening!

This silly girl loves to have her photo taken!

Last weekend we had an impromptu date night with the Britton's.  While the girls stayed up really late and were still wide awake when we arrived home after 11pm, the kids had a sleepover anyway.  They love each other so much and have great fun when they are together!

They all needed a little extra rest after their busy day and night!

Welcoming April

We all had a fun weekend starting out with a trip to the movie to watch Zootopia, which we all enjoyed.  On Saturday morning we were all snuggling in bed chatting about the theme song from the movie and Claire proclaimed "it's  just like us, we make mistakes and try again!". Warmed our hearts.

Saturday night we had an impromptu date night and the Britton girls stayed for a sleep over.  That is always tons of fun for the girls!

Stella seems to be feeling a little sluggish but hopefully she's just over tired, especially because this week she gets to partake in show and tell, choose the story, and sit in the special chair.  Every child gets a week for this in her classroom and she's very excited to finally have her turn!
