We decided to venture out of the North Country for spring break this year and headed to the beach! Our trip was planned and inspired by Miss Sue and we are so glad we decided to go!
We wanted to break up the trip a bit so we stopped at a few places along the way.
First up was Hanover, MD for Medieval Times dinner theatre which was a lot of fun!
The next day we got back on the road and headed to Virgina Beach for two days. When we arrived the weather was cold and rainy so we skipped the beach but checked out some shops and had some great pizza!
It was a different Easter than we are used to, and the weather wasn't great during our stay, but we made the most of our time away! The girls went indoor sky diving which was really cool to watch!
The beach was very cold but we still went for a walk to find the King Neptune Statue:
We also ventured out to explore the Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge:
We wrapped up our visit to Virgina Beach with a trip to Dave & Buster's for dinner and games.
The next day we moved along to Myrtle Beach, our final destination where Alissa, Raegan, and Madilyn met up with us! It was a week full of fun & sun, with just the right mix of beach time and other activities:
