January 2025

We are a basketball family so it's no surprise that January was filled with practices, games, and more games. While not on the same team yet, I'm grateful this year to have the girls practicing and traveling together most of the time. It does make things easier!

With Girls Scout cookie season just around the corner the troop got together to kick-off some excitement around sales. Stella and Claire, like most girls in our troop, are happy to sell product and take a summer trip each year, with just a few things in-between but not lots of meetings and badge work due to their busy schedules. This has been a nice way for them to stay involved but not be overwhelmed.

Stella submitted an entry for the Tri-Town Winter Carnival button contest and her design was chosen! The theme 'Celebrate the Magic of Disney' was an easy one for Stella to resonate with because if you are a loyal blog follower you know she was a huge fan of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse as a little girl! I loved how she incorporated our towns in the fireworks!

Happy New Year 2025!

New Year's Eve looked a little different this year because the McCarthy's are in Florida, so we rang in the New Year at our house. The Britton's came over for a sleepover and we had lots of food and fun!

December 2024

The girls started getting into the holiday spirit this year by decorating their own tree in the hallway between their rooms!

We did advent jokes this year - which weren't a
huge hit but did create a few laughs.

Mom took a girls trip to NYC to see the Rockette's and had tons of fun!

Holiday Concert - which Randy chaperoned this year now that he's at SLC. Grammie and Pa made the trip over and had a sleepover with us so they could see the girls perform.

We made Gingerbread houses with Grammie before Christmas:

Christmas Eve we continued our tradition of going to church and then opening one gift. This year we also played the saran wrap ball game which was super fun!  We also took some silly pics.

Christmas was a very relaxing day. We slepted in, Grammie and Pa came to visit in the afternoon with Aunt Patti, Haley and Skye, and we just chilled most of the day and ate lots of food!

November 2024

Swim Sectionals and end-of-season banquet were lots of fun! Two of our SLC Swimmers qualified for the state meet!

School Field Trip to SLU for a Hockey Game

Randy ended up being pied in the face and I was lucky enough to have the entire thing sent to me on video so I got to see it all. The school was sent home with these fun SLU shades for the students!

The Softball team attended the local Veteran's Day Service and then helped serve lunch at the American Legion afterward:
