September 2024

Back to School! This is a big year for us with Randy changing schools and starting teaching 8th grade at SLC. It's been a bittersweet change but the first day of school was pretty awesome with the three of them heading off together.

Daddy's Classroom

And here's some other happenings from this month:

Grammie and Pa came for a visit and brougt cake to celebrate my birthday.

The girls helped stain the deck at the end of the summer. It's been great having their help with these kinds of projects!

Stella with her first
official pay check from
staffing an SLC Basketball Day Camp

Always lots of back-to-school
paperwork to do!

Date night at the Gristmill

Hiking with Stella's swim team

The Hooley's came home and the family held a small baby shower to celebrate and introduce Ezra.

Home Coming Dance!

And lots of busy days juggling schedules for Varsity Swim and Modified Soccer.

August 2024

August brought two more weeks of PGC: Stella and Randy spent a week in Springfield, MA for an overnight camp and Claire and Randy spent a week in Ottawa for a day camp. Randy decided to take a hiatus for an evening and zip over to Toronto for a Blink 182 Concert. Claire didn't want to miss camp so Stella and I drove over and Stella went with her dad to the show while Claire and I stayed in Ottawa. We visited a local book store and had dinner out on the sidewalk - my favorite this time of year!

The girls were able to go on an end-of-summer trip with Girl Scouts to Letchworth State Park and Niagara Falls.

Welcome Weekend Carnival @ SUNY Potsdam - families were able to participate this year so we met up with Kalissa!

Christmas in August with my work crew because life got in the way and we haven't been able to schedule it in. Always lots of laugher and fun when we get together!

Some other Random things from this month:

Annual shopping trip - went to Destiny USA
again this year!
Both of Stella's private music instructors took
this month off so she started dabbling in guitar a bit on her own

I spent A-LOT of time by our pool!

Giving our Adk chairs a make-over

Claire and her friends visited the Franklin County Fair

Stella was a guest player on a local Softball
team for a tournament in Cicero, NY

July 2024

July came and went but was packed full of travel this year. Claire and Randy started the month off with PGC in CT. Stella and I chilled at home on the 4th and enjoyed the Austin's stopping by with lunch since they knew we'd be by ourselves for the day. The weather was perfect for lounging by the pool!

After spending a week at the Loomis Chaffey School, all three left for Ohio Dominican University for more camp. I joined them at the end of the week so I could pick up Claire, since she's not old enough for week 2.
I love the philosophy and mindset PGC shares with athletes!

While we were there we got to visit with the Hooley's and meet our new baby cousin and great nephew!

With Stella and Randy staying in Ohio for another week, Claire and I headed home by way of Hershey, PA so we could get some more time in at the park. We had an awesome day, and she even humored me with the a ride on the Monorail, which we missed on our last visit.

Stella, practicing public speaking at PGC:

The end of July brought our annual Summerfest to tri-town. The girls participated in the sidewalk chart contest and the Color-Run.

Claire won first place in the Ages 9-12 category!

Some pool time and a Bonfire with the Moreau's too, with smores of course!
