We took a trip to Jay Peak, VT this month for a little getaway. Randy and I left Friday ahead of everyone else to attend the Bean & Brew Fest German themed, 5-Course Meal. We got to sample lots of delicious foods and beer!

The next day the kids came with Madilyn Austin and the Moreau's for the weekend, and the McCarthy's came in for the night too to attend the Bean & Brew fest. We also celebrated  Claire's birthday, and Sunday we took the kids to the waterpark, went to the arcade, and relaxed at the condo. The girls and I went home through Burlington and met up with Caroline for a visit at Barnes and Nobles and Claire picked out some books with a gift card from Grammie & Pa.

Back to School! This is a big year for us with Randy changing schools and starting teaching 8th grade at SLC. It's been a bittersweet change but the first day of school was pretty awesome with the three of them heading off together.

Grammie and Pa came for a visit and brougt cake to celebrate my birthday.

The girls helped stain the deck at the end of the summer. It's been great having their help with these kinds of projects!
