We are fortunate to live in a small town with big personality! I joke now that ever since Dollar General opened, you never need to leave Brasher Falls! But it's no joke that we have some talented folks who care about our community - the families living here, and the quality of life for our kids and grown-ups alike. This weekend we took the girls to see the school musical 'Anne of Green Gables'. It was a nice treat. And although we aren't a hockey family, it was pretty neat to read on facebook that our boys hockey team has earned a spot in the final four teams of the state tournament.

Other news this week - we enjoyed a fellowship meal with some of our church family Friday night, the girls had fun at gymnastics (daddy brought his own chair to wait around in comfort), went ice skating Saturday afternoon, have admired the stair parts and molding Daddy has been painting, as well as our new bathroom remodel (which Claire hung out in the first day it was put together), and AWANA started up again after mid-winter break. Claire has been asking about when we could go back and was really looking forward to it!
Another cold snap is upon us but we are all hopeful this will be the last one and that spring is just around the corner!
